Maldwyn Williams BA(Hons) LFA MLIA(dip) FIAB
Born
in 1958, Maldwyn attended Liverpool University and graduated in 1979. He trained
with the Standard Life and in 1980 at age 21 was appointed as an inspector,
which at that time made him the youngest Standard Life inspector in the country.
After moving to another major investment and pension provider to broaden his
experience, Maldwyn was appointed as the Life, Pensions and Investment Manager
to a provincial brokerage in 1983.
In 1984 Maldwyn decided to form M S Williams & Co. and he acted as Principal within that organisation until the merger with Active Investment Managers Limited in 1995. To reflect the merger the trading name Morgan Williams & Co. was adopted and Maldwyn is the Managing Director giving advice and shaping the future of the company. Maldwyn has lectured in financial services at Hull College and taken advisers through their Financial Planning certificates. He has a broad knowledge of financial services generally and specializes in providing advice in relation to capital investment. Over half of the clients that he cares for on a day to day basis are retired, many of whom are investing for income.
